Wind Integrated Safety Rules - WISER

Globally Deployable Electrical & Mechanical Safety Rules and Wind Turbine Safety Rules Combined

The SCHEME – C process can be deployed by organisations using the WISER system or by those using other  Safety Rules. WISER is not a mandatory component of SCHEME – C.

Common Competency Matrix

Role Specific Competency Requirements – Agreed by Industry, For Industry

The Common Competency Matrix (CCM) is Safety Rules Role specific. Our robust governance processes ensure that it is monitored for quality and relevance by subject matter experts from across the industry.

The Common Competency Matrix enables the Common Authorisation Standard.

Common Authorisation Standard

Setting & Maintaining the Electrical Competency Bar

Solving the age old of the efficient but sufficiently robust authorisation of electrical workers, the Common Authorisation Standard (CAS) enables all subscribing organisations to anchor themselves to a known standard such that there can be high confidence in the competence levels of accredited individuals

When Electrical workers, whether they are staff, contractors or sub-contractors, arrive with a recognised and accredited level of competency, the route to their formal authorisation is a shorter and safer.

Centralised Authorisation Process

Accreditation to a Recognised Competency Level

Behind the SCHEME - C accreditation sits a full suite of auditable evidence demonstrating any training the individual has completed but, most importantly, the verification of competence process they have be subject to.

Organisations issuing Authorisation to carry out electrical work can choose to fully issue those authorisations on the strength of the SCHEME – C accreditation or simply use the accreditation as a baseline for any individual’s competency allowing an accelerated authorisation process.

Secure & Compliant Registration of SCHEME – C Accreditation

The High Voltage Academy takes data security and regulatory compliance as seriously as it takes Electrical Safety

The SCHEME – C registration provides:

  • Individuals the ability to demonstrate their level of competence in the Control of Hazardous Energy.

  • Efficient insertion into the subscribing organisation’s formal authorisation process.

  • Selected and appointed individuals within the relevant organisations access to the accreditation information of individuals only within that organisation.

  • Accredited freelance individuals a  certificate of accreditations to present to prospective employers
